Celebrating 26 Years of SRK, @iamsrk , Shah Rukh Khan in Bollywood
Here is a video of drawings and paintings that I created to celebrate this glorious occasion and to honour a very fine actor.
Dedicated to each film (and some cameos) that Shah Rukh has appeared in over his career in Bollywood, spanning half his lifetime.
It is a collection of drawings and painting that I have made to celebrate each of his films as the anniversary came each year since I began drawing SRK 7 years ago. It’s a kind of journey in art for me too. A journey of love and dedication ❤
The only exception to the above is the movie Dil Aashna Hai, which I have yet to make a drawing of.
From the moment he ‘breezed in’ on his motorbike in #Deewana , took over the movie and owned it, he stamped his mark on hindi cinema and showed what an awesome actor he was and still is.
Most drawings are in graphite pencil or charcoal. The paintings are all watercolour, but some pictures are done in coloured pencils or pastel crayons. One or two were coloured with a photo editor, but are still my own sketches.
